Neil is a classic example of someone who was ‘living older’. Throughout most of his forties he was very overweight with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. He was drinking heavily every night and eating the wrong foods. He felt terrible most days and had lost his passion for life. He looked around and thought, ‘Well, I’m about the same as most people my age, so this must be it for me now.’
However, something inside kept telling him that that wasn’t it! He started to research health and fitness in middle-age and became inspired. Starting slowly by going for a walk every day, he soon began to improve, and with his new vigour kept on learning and improving. Taking inspiration from people like Jack Lalanne and Sylvester Stallone, who were still in great shape despite their advancing years, Neil lost weight and got his fitness back to levels he hadn’t seen since he was a semi-professional moto–cross rider in his twenties.
These days Neil is a qualified personal trainer who is passionate about health and fitness whose goal in life is to help as many people as possible do what he did; turn their lives around and achieve their goals.
