About
Jane graduated as a degree nurse from Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust in 1998. Very early on in her nursing career she realised that she wanted to become a specialist oncology nurse and spent over 16 years working at the world renowned Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
Working as a cancer nurse across multiple wards Jane gained a vast amount of experience of all types of cancer and its treatments including surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and palliative care.
As Jane's career progressed she worked as Practice Educator working clinically as a role model for nurses and doctors to ensure all patients received high standards of care. After two years working as the ward manager on the private patient wards, Jane took a short career break to raise her family.
In looking to combine her life long passion for health and fitness with her extensive oncology experience she then completed the cancer and exercise rehabilitation diploma.
Jane regularly contributes to websites, gives talks and workshops to local charity groups and runs retreats with her Nourish, support connect colleagues.
Jane currently lives in Twyford, Hampshire with her husband, two children and her black labradors Tilly & Skye. Her interests are cooking, travel, horse riding and running.
