About

I'm Shelley Reed, a fully qualified, insured, advanced personal trainer. I specialise in fat loss/weight management, toning and conditioning. I'm also a specialist instructor in exercise for pre- and post-natal, and I am on the Register of Exercise Professionals.

I started my training at Canterbury College and have continued training with Premier International. I am always keeping up-to-date with the health and fitness industry through continuous personal development, courses, seminars and online research.

I have a fairly strong sporting background and enjoy most sports. As well as having been a keen swimmer, I represented my school in Netball tournaments and cross country running, and ultimately went on to run for my county in the Kent cross country championships. My chosen sports now are resistance training and martial arts. I am very passionate about helping people live a happier and healthier lifestyle and want to pass on my knowledge and experience to help you achieve this.

You will find me friendly and approachable with an empathic nature, although I will drive you harder when I feel you need that extra push. My sessions are fun and motivating, but also challenging. I have trained clients of all ages, fitness levels and backgrounds that have had different long-term goals.

Working together I will help you not only achieve your goals but stick with them, so you achieve lifelong changes in lifestyle. I understand how hard it is to find time and to make a lifestyle change, especially in this day and age when life can be demanding and sometimes stressful, but you can do it! It's about prioritising and breaking bad habits then replacing them with good ones. Using the right mind-set and positive thinking, you can achieve anything you want to.
