Richard O'Connor has been coaching for 20 years. Prior to this, he served 9 years as a Royal Marines Commando, Britain's elite armed forces, recognised for their ability to operate in Arctic, mountain, jungle, urban, and desert environments. He spent time working in them all. With a reputation for outstanding physical and mental resilience, the Royal Marines sets a benchmark that is very difficult to attain.
Richard worked at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre as Lifestyle & Fitness Manager for an international tennis performance academy, and worked for 4 years with David Lloyd in his early coaching career, gaining a reputation as an inspiring personal trainer.
Originally from Inverness, Richard lives in Poole, Dorset, splitting his time between London and Dorset, coaching personal clients in both locations, developing the Madmule Fitness group training clients and Madmule Adventure ultra running retreats.
