In 2010 I weighed over 18 stone. My weight had a negative impact on everything from my health to my happiness and confidence. After months of failed quick-fix diets consisting of shakes, juices and diet pills, I begrudgingly joined the gym. Stepping foot in a gym terrified me! I hated the idea of being judged because of my weight, but after a few weeks of consistent exercise and healthy eating, I started to see results. After 2 years I had lost 5 stone and felt healthier and much more confident. It was not an easy journey; there were plenty of occasions when I nearly gave up but it was definitely worth it! Losing weight has completely changed my life. Since 2012, health and fitness has become my passion; I have undertaken an Advanced Diploma in Personal Training and Nutrition and I am now lucky enough to be able to help other people to achieve their goals and change their life.

- Level 4: Exercise for management of lower back pain
