About Me

My main background in health and fitness comes from the world of dance. I started at a very early age and attended the Arts Educational London School where I specialised in Ballet. This experience gave me access to a range of techniques from Ballet, Pilates, acting and music that all seemed to be achieving the same thing in different ways – a deep understanding of the human body and how to make it work efficiently and effortlessly.

One of the main reasons I became qualified as a personal trainer was to use and share the skills and knowledge I leaned from this background. I’ve always really enjoyed the physicality of training and love passing this on to the people I train.

Training with Me

The first stage in starting training with me is to have a consultation. This is completely free and usually will take place at your own home. I’m also happy to meet somewhere public if that’s preferable and if it isn’t possible to meet face-to face this could also be done over the phone or by email. This consultation is a chance for us to discuss all aspects of what you’d like to get out of the training, any injuries or special considerations and a chance to ask me any questions. There’s no obligation to go past this point unless you’re fully satisfied with moving forward.

The sessions themselves are often 60 minutes long. I use a mix of many exercise types to provide a fully rounded workout. I create a tailored programme for each client which will consist of cardio, strength and conditioning, posture and mobility. The exact types of exercise and how intense they are will change and progress over time to keep pace with the client’s needs.

Outside of the sessions I also provide some extra workouts to be performed without me. These could be as simple as going for a walk all the way up to detailed workouts focused on a specific area. As well as exercise I also offer advice and support on nutrition and weight loss and some general lifestyle assistance. I’m also always contactable by phone or email and will always respond to messages as soon as I’m able.
