I am an average Joe who has had an interest in health & fitness most of his life but has never really committed fully to achieving his fitness goals. Like most people I suffer with finding motivation to train, finding that reason to fully commit to the training because you do not see results immediately and the list goes on….
When I was young I was diagnosed with Leukaemia. I am lucky enough to have beaten it and I am at that point in my life where I have decided that it is time that I stop playing around and commit to training for the results I want and to actually achieve them.
Nutrition plays a large part in fitness and weight loss. It is generally accepted that 80% of our success in weight reduction is directly related to what we eat. Because of the type of lifestyles we now live, including long stressful days at work, we generally eat whatever we can get our hands on. This normally ends up being fast food, processed food and the types of food that have poor nutritional values.
This makes it difficult to eat healthy 100% of the time and as a result we gain weight through lack of exercise and over eating the wrong types of food. Nutrition is something that is easy to fix; it just requires commitment and dedication but as the saying goes “We are what we eat.”
Great nutrition is a key part of my life and is integral to achieving my health, fitness and nutrition goals.
In 2017 I decided to qualify as a Personal Trainer so I could change my career path and move into an industry where I can help people achieve their fitness and nutrition goals, which provides me motivation in my own training as I take great pride in helping others succeed in every aspect of their life. I have spent a lot of money training to become a Personal Trainer and continue to invest to further my education and to improve my skills in order to help as many people as I can achieve their health, fitness and nutrition goals.
