I design programs that are both enjoyable and varied so that your body faces new challenges each time and you never become bored with the same routine. For all runners, both advanced and beginners, I also design specific programs.
I love to show people how enjoyable and fun training can be by adding variety to each session. Initially I will find out what your specific goals are, and then help you to make these goals both measurable and realistic through a progressive and specifically designed program. As well as exercising, nutrition is also an important factor in health and as a nutritional advisor I can offer advice on your current eating habits and offer suggestions, which will complement your training. Training sessions can be taken outside or in the comfort of your own home and either on a one to one basis, or alternatively, I can offer training to a small group.
For any runners out there I recently helped train in 6 months a small number of beginners for the Reading marathon, which all successfully completed in very respectable times. I also trained clients for the hilly Surrey Slog marathon, on the North Downs, by specifically designing high intensity interval/circuit programs. I recently 'trained myself' for the London Marathon and successfully completed it 21 minutes faster than the previous year using Interval Training together with High Intensity Circuit Training.
Additionally, I am a qualified VTCT Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist, which means I can help to ease out those tight muscles and release any sore or painful trigger points after exercise. Again I can carry out any massages in the comfort of your own home if you prefer and for any of my personal training clients I can offer this at a discount.
