Additionally, he has experience in the field with high performance athletes in netball, rugby and endurance running.
Tom was born in Cornwall where he grew up exposed to sport from a young age, eventually progressing in cricket and rugby. His passion for cricket was pursued through university, but early into university he picked up a chronic knee injury which ended his cricket career.
Tom developed a keen interest for sports science as a result of his learning to deal with his ongoing injury. His interest in the rehabilitation of his own injury, following multiple operations and rehabilitation, led him to studying an MSc in strength & conditioning. His passion for strength & conditioning was fuelled by the desire to help other athletes and sports performers become robust enough to cope with the demands of their sport and to help them achieve a successful sporting career, minimising time lost to injury.
