I am a fully qualified mobile personal trainer and Pilates instructor. I visit clients at their homes in order to help them achieve an active, healthy approach to living in a way that best suits their lifestyle.
I use a wide range of training styles from boxing to core stability, from high intensity to careful postural correcting moves to deliver a great all-round approach to fitness and tailor each program to the individual’s specific needs.
I believe that being physically active is closely linked to our mental state and emotional well being and should therefore be something that everyone knows how to do and that they prioritise in life. By teaching people to exercise wherever they are, at home, at work, in their garden or a local park, without relying on a gym full of equipment, I hope to give them the knowledge they need to keep themselves fit throughout their lives regardless of what facilities they have access to.
By visiting people at a time and in a location that is convenient to them, they can have all the motivation and guidance they would get from professionals in a gym without having to factor in travel, timetables that don’t suit their schedule, feeling uncomfortable, struggling to know what to do or simply not enjoying the environment.
Keeping workouts varied and fun is the key to getting people motivated and constantly provide new challenges that allow people to reach their goals while never losing interest.
Before becoming a PT, I completed a degree in psychology and am currently furthering my studies with a course on movement neurology. My own exercise schedule is varied and includes running, boxing, weight training, Pilates and yoga among other things!
I thoroughly enjoy my work, especially assisting people with overcoming specific problems in their fitness and functionality. I keep my sessions fun and friendly, though encourage people to push themselves. I love to have a laugh with my clients and see them enjoy the time spent working on their health.
